Short version: BopBooth processes all your photos locally in your browser. We never upload, store, or transmit your camera feed or photos to any server. The only data we collect is standard analytics and advertising cookies from Google.
1. Information We Collect
Camera & Photos
BopBooth requests access to your device's camera only when you click "Take Photos." Your camera feed is processed entirely on your device using the browser's Canvas API. No images are ever transmitted to our servers. When you close or refresh the page, all captured images are permanently discarded.
Automatically Collected Data
Like most websites, we collect standard non-personal information including:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring URL and pages visited on our site
- Date and time of your visit
- General geographic location (country/region level only)
This data is collected via Google Analytics and is aggregated it cannot be used to identify you personally.
No Account or Registration
BopBooth does not offer user accounts. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information unless you voluntarily contact us (see Section 7).
2. How We Use Information
The limited data we collect is used solely to:
- Understand how visitors use the site (page views, popular features)
- Display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense
- Monitor and improve site performance and reliability
- Detect and prevent abuse or technical issues
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Because BopBooth processes all photos locally and does not transmit them to any server, the primary security mechanism is your browser's built-in sandboxing. We serve the website over HTTPS to protect data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
BopBooth is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. BopBooth complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
